XRC Ventures 2026 Analysts/Fellows (Part-Time Interns) WHO WE ARE XRC Ventures is a multi-strategy fund investing at the intersection of consumer behavior and advancements in technology. Our investments span the entire end to end consumer experience: supply chain, store tech, online tech, analytics, consumer brands, and martech/adtech. In 2022, we launched the Brand Capital Fund to focus on generation-defining consumer brands. OUR EVOLUTION XRC Ventures has gone through numerous iterations since our inception as the XRC Labs accelerator in 2015. From the onset, we have brought together a retail and consumer ecosystem of thought leaders on Wall Street, Retailers, Consumer Brands and founders to inform and accelerate the growth of innovative startups. Through those relationships and our over 135 companies invested, XRC Ventures has grown in the number of funds and AUM. XRC Ventures is a small team and we give team members ownership to enable them to contribute across the organization in a meaningful way. WHO YOU ARE This position is geared towards students (Undergraduate and MBA) interested in venture capital and/or working with early-stage consumer and consumer-tech startups. You are eager to learn, have a curiosity to understand how things work, ask questions, contribute ideas, are proactive, and are excited to work as a team. APPLICATION This internship is for the Sourcing & Investments team for the Brand fund, which focuses on CPG brands. General Description: The Sourcing and Investments team finds companies for investment consideration and oversees the due diligence process. Strong candidates enjoy writing, researching, are resourceful, and have a strong attention to detail. Must be proficient with Google Slides. Familiarity with Google Sheets, social media tools, Affinity, and Crunchbase is also helpful, but not required. Sample Projects and Responsibilities: • Find startups that fit the investment criteria for the fund • Create investment memos and/or one-pagers on Google Slides • Conduct research and analysis to assist with diligence (e.g. market sizing, financial models, business strategy, pricing studies, and other ad-hoc projects) • May also be asked to attend events, conduct consumer or startup interviews, and help with channel checks as needed QUALIFICATIONS: Required • Ability to thrive and grow in a high-growth, fast-paced startup environment; quick to adapt to new challenges and change • Entrepreneurial and resourceful; takes ownership of projects and enjoys figuring things out on their own • Ability to multitask and work with multiple teams on multiple projects, and remain organized • Strong research and analytical skills and the ability to distill data into actionable insights • Excellent presentation, writing, and communication skills with extreme attention to detail • Enthusiastic, driven, and great at communicating • Team player who doesn’t hesitate to roll up sleeves and tackle something hands-on • Well versed with Google Suite (especially Google Sheets and Google Slides) Preferred: • Knowledge and passion for startups, retail/consumer, and technology; Especially CPG companies in beauty, personal care, and health and wellness • Experience with startup research, sourcing, and evaluation • Experience coordinating groups and managing events • Experience with Zoom EMPLOYEE TYPE: Non Exempt: Hourly Part Time: +/- 15 to 20 hours per week (average); set schedules Temporary: 5-6 month term (corresponding with semester time frame) Location: Remote TERM: • Spring Semester (January to May) • Summer (May to September) • Fall Semester (September to January) COMPENSATION: Analysts (Undergrad): $20/hr - $23/hr (dependent on years experience/academia) Fellows (Grad/MBA): $24/hr - $25/hr (dependent on years experience/academia) APPLICATION PROCESS Please fill out the application form linked here.
