The IT Analyst position requires proficiency in core application systems, problem solving, application design/architecture, implementation, system and technology integration and system testing. You will work both independently and with a cooperative team on complex projects that span various applications. The IT Analyst adds value to the enterprise through its support of both internal and external/partner systems and applications. **What You Will Do** Responsibilities of the IT Analyst position include but are not limited to: + Participates in IT functions like developing, coding, and testing computer programs. + Assisting in preparing technical and procedural documentation. + Assisting with detailed flowcharts to show processing logic for simple application programs. + Identifying opportunities for process improvement and implementing innovative solutions to enhance system performance. + Participating in contributing solutions for programming system operations, including encoding, testing, debugging and documenting programs. While this list is always evolving, here are examples of teams that you can be placed in depending on Caterpillar IT workforce needs. + AI & Automation Services + Cybersecurity- Governance, Risk and Compliance + Cloud + Infrastructure + DevSecOps Engineering + Network Security **What You Will Have-Skills and Experiences** + Proficiency in any of the computer software applications or programming languages or technologies, such as Java, JavaScript, SQL, Db2, .NET, C, C++, C#, User Experience, HTML, AWS, and Azure. These skills are crucial for developing robust and efficient application systems. + Demonstrated leadership experience and desire to take initiative. + Strong communication, teamwork, analytical, and interpersonal skills. + Strong problem-solving and customer service skills, enabling you to troubleshoot issues effectively and provide exceptional support to internal and external users. + Ability to work independently and manage time as well as being a collaborative team member. + Familiar with company policies and procedures, ensuring compliance and adherence to best practices in all aspects of the role. **Basic Qualifications** + Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Cybersecurity or a technical-related degree from a four-year accredited college/university. + Minimum cumulative GPA: 3.0 on 4.0 scale (without rounding). + Previous technical internship or work experience outside of classroom setting. **Desired Qualifications** + This position requires 12 months or less of professional experience in this field (excluding internships) **Additional Information** + Please attach your resume and an unofficial copy of your transcript to your application. + Applicants will be considered for positions in **East** **Peoria,** **IL, Irving, TX and Nashville, TN** . + Relocation is available. + Sponsorship is **NOT** available for this position. + The position requires working onsite five days a week. **Summary Pay Range:** $79,800.00 - $119,760.00 Compensation and benefits offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, job level, market location, job-related knowledge, skills, individual performance and experience.
