Come talk to us about joining the Centerstone team!JOB DESCRIPTION:SUMMARY OF POSITION This is a remote position on a 24/7/365 mental health crisis/suicide prevention focused team. Handles incoming chat/text messages through the National Suicide Prevention Lifeline (NSPL), also known as 988. Provides brief clinical screenings, risk assessments and appropriate service linkage for individuals who are experiencing emotional distress. While the interactions begin online, this position may also support telephonic intervention if an individual would prefer or need continued support to ensure safety.ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIESProvides telephonic or chat clinical screenings and risk assessments.Answers crisis contacts via the chat/text platform to assess for suicide, safety and identify appropriate community resources to best meet individual needs.Conducts follow-up calls for individuals who are deemed moderate to high risk for suicide.
