Your role • Pitch, clear, and verify UGC video content • Assist in gathering elements for stories and videos (i.e. photos, footage, music) • The report, write, and turn around lifestyle articles and videos with speed and accuracy • Assist with coverage of news events or tentpole (for example, helping with live blog coverage for Oscars 2023 or the death of Queen Elizabeth II) • Collaborate with GMA broadcast producers and teams on pieces and franchises such as GMA Book Club • Curate and program the GMA newsletter as needed • Attend local field shoots as needed Training & development Disney University is a training facility where Disney Cast Members go to take classes related to their specific roles and work locations. About you • Self-starter and have a collaborative spirit • Interest in news, lifestyle, and entertainment content for a mobile-first audience • Willing to learn the various skills needed to craft both video and text content • Experience with Adobe Premiere is a plus but not required • Familiarity with AP Style • Ability and willingness to go on field shoots • Enrolled in an accredited college/university taking at least one class in the semester/quarter (spring/fall) OR must have graduated from a college/university within 6 months OR currently participating in a Disney Professional Internship OR Disney College Program.
