Account Manager (2 remote roles - Jr and Sr)
ACCOUNT MANAGER (one junior and one senior) Role Summary The Account Manager is responsible for owning and expanding customer relationships. This role focuses on driving revenue, positioning our solutions, ensuring customer satisfaction, and serving as the trusted advisor across networking, security, cloud, and automation solutions. Key Responsibilities • Own a defined book of business across enterprise and/or service provider accounts. • Develop and execute account strategies to grow revenue and expand solution footprint. • Build strong customer relationships at multiple levels - technical, operational, and executive. • Partner with sales engineering, delivery, and partner ecosystem teams to design and present solutions. • Manage full sales cycle: discovery, proposal, negotiation, closing. • Forecast pipeline accurately and maintain CRM hygiene. • Identify cross-sell and up-sell opportunities across networking, cloud, security, and managed services. • Ensure high customer satisfaction and act as escalation point for client needs. • Stay current on competitive landscape, industry trends, and new product releases. Required Skills & Competencies • Strong understanding of networking (routing/switching), security, cloud environments, or automation. • Proven experience managing enterprise or commercial accounts in technology or professional services. • Excellent communication, customer interaction, and relationship-building skills. • Ability to translate technical solutions into business value for non-technical stakeholders. • Strong negotiation and closing skills. • Self-driven, organized, and able to manage multiple accounts simultaneously. Preferred Experience • 4 - 7 + years in sales, account management, or customer success in the tech ecosystem. • Experience working with manufacturers (Juniper, Arista, Palo Alto, Cisco, Fortinet) or integrators (WWT, Insight, CDW). • Experience selling or supporting professional services, managed services, or advanced architectures.
