This role sits at the forefront of next-generation communications, driving adoption of hybrid terrestrial-satellite and non-terrestrial network solutions across defense and federal environments. You will lead strategic sales initiatives tied to advanced 5G, satellite, and resilient communications capabilities, working closely with technical teams to deliver mission-ready outcomes. The position offers significant autonomy, executive-level exposure, and the opportunity to shape how emerging space-based and tactical networks are deployed at scale. Operating in a fast-moving, innovation-driven environment, you will influence critical programs while building long-term partnerships across government and industry. This is a high-impact role for a commercially minded leader passionate about advanced connectivity and national security priorities. Accountabilities: • Develop and execute a targeted sales strategy for next-generation network solutions, including satellite-integrated broadband devices, tactical hub systems, and private 5G plus NTN services. • Build and maintain senior-level relationships with key federal stakeholders, including defense agencies, space-focused organizations, and satellite ecosystem partners. • Lead sales pursuits across both FAR-based and commercial opportunities, navigating complex procurement and contracting environments. • Collaborate with engineering and product teams to align technical capabilities with customer mission requirements and operational constraints. • Conduct market, customer, and competitive analysis to identify growth opportunities and refine go-to-market positioning. • Represent the organization at industry events, demonstrations, briefings, and trade shows focused on 5G, NTN, and space-based communications. • Maintain a robust sales pipeline, manage forecasting, and track performance metrics using CRM tools. Requirements: • Bachelor’s degree in a technical or business-related field. • At least 7 years of experience selling advanced communications solutions to federal or defense customers. • Demonstrated success with SATCOM, 5G, or non-terrestrial network technologies and complex, multi-stakeholder sales cycles. • Strong understanding of defense modernization priorities and mission-driven technology adoption. • Experience with federal procurement vehicles and alternative acquisition pathways. • Executive-level communication skills with the ability to translate technical solutions into mission impact and return on investment. • Comfort operating in highly technical environments and influencing senior decision-makers. • Bonus qualifications include experience with space or defense innovation programs, familiarity with cellular and open network standards, spectrum policy exposure, or network-as-a-service models.
