Accountant (LATAM)

Responsibilities: • Assist with accounting tasks, including reconciliations, reporting, and transaction tracking. • Support legal processes by preparing financial documentation for use in contracts, audits, and compliance matters. • Collaborate with attorneys and accountants to ensure accuracy of financial data in legal proceedings. • Maintain organized records of both financial and legal documentation. • Conduct research and provide administrative support for accounting and legal projects. • Ensure compliance with regulatory and reporting requirements across accounting and legal functions. Requirements: • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. • 2+ years of experience in accounting or finance. • Strong interest in law, compliance, or legal processes. • Professional proficiency in English (written and verbal). • Experience with accounting software (such as QuickBooks, Xero, or similar platforms). • Ability to handle a fast-paced, high-volume workload. • Proficiency in Microsoft Suite. • High attention to detail and excellent organizational abilities. Nice to have: • Dropbox experience is preferred. • Familiarity with compliance, auditing, or contract review. • Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams. • Knowledge of U.S. GAAP, IFRS, or local statutory reporting standards.
