Accounting Assistant

Goldco, a premier precious metals firm located in Calabasas, CA, is seeking an entry-level bookkeeper with strong attention to detail to join our Accounting team. This position requires professionalism, flexibility, and a positive, friendly attitude. The chosen candidate will report directly to the Controller. This is a hybrid role that will report to the Goldco office 3 days a week.•This is a hybrid in-office role in Calabasas; CA. Must be able to reliably commute to the Goldco office 3 days per week*Position Requirements:• Proficiency in QuickBooks, preferred• 1+ years bookkeeping/accounting experience• Proficiency in Word and Excel required• Must be punctual and reliable• High attention to detail• Excellent oral and written communication skills• Professional and calm demeanor• Personable, service-oriented, and respectful at all times• Be flexible in daily assignments; multi-task with ease• Possess great project management and organizational skills• Take initiative and provide administrative support to the Accounting team as needed• Possess the ability work independently as well as coordinate with others• Possess the ability to keep information in the strictest of confidenceAccounting Responsibilities include:• Accounts payable• Accounts receivable• Bank reconciliation• Journal entry postingPerks/Benefits:• Health benefits after 30 days, company matched 401k after 60 days, and discretionary bonus/incentives available after 90 days• Accrued paid time off; paid holidays.• Friendly office culture and atmosphere. Compensation ranges are based on several factors including job function, level, and geographic location.
