Accounting Assistant/ Bookkeeper - Full Time Remote/ EST Time Zone Only

We are seeking an experienced Accountant/Bookkeeper with expertise in transactional accounting to join our team. The ideal candidate will be available and committed to remote work Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. This is a full-time position and is not suitable for night or weekend work due to team collaboration and client needs. We operate in a dynamic, multi-client environment where success depends on the ability to multitask effectively and process information with speed and accuracy. Responsibilities · Payroll processing and payroll administration bi-weekly · Transactional daily bookkeeping/ accounting · New client bookkeeping clean up · Responsible for the accurate and timely management of detailed accounts payable and receivable, including invoice processing, payments, collections, and vendor account reconciliations recurring weekly · Monthly bank, credit card and loan reconciliations and management · Monthly close process & review in accordance with GAAP · Support · Monitor and maintain the Chart of Accounts · Manage the general ledger and post all journal entries, transactions · Support the Tenridge staff and owner with accounting projects · Cash flow projections Qualifications · 4 years of Accounting/ Bookkeeping experience · Degree in Accounting or related field preferred but not required · Strong understanding of GAAP accounting · Full cycle accounting experience · Proficient in QuickBooks Online & QuickBooks Desktop with working experience · Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel · Extremely detail-oriented, excellent organizational skills · Self-directed and able to work independently · Highly organized, with a methodical approach to tasks · Excellent time management skills · Problem solver seeking answers and willing to ask for help · Professional demeanor · Even tempered with a positive attitude · Multi-tasker Job Type: Full-time Pay: $22.00 - $25.00 per hour Expected hours: 40 per week Benefits: • Paid time off • Work from home Application Question(s): • How many years with QuickBooks Desktop and QuickBooks Online experience? • Do you live in Eastern Time Zone? • How many years have you worked in a multi-client accounting environment?
