Accounts Receivable Representative - Remote

About the position Responsibilities • Assist supported offices with a wide variety of insurance and accounts receivable matters relating to training, day-to-day processes, and holding accountability of supported offices to follow AR timeline and systems. • Reviewing and auditing accounts. • Following up on insurance claims. • Making courtesy calls on past due balances. • Provide training to supported offices while developing a strong relationship with the offices, creating a partnership to support both our new and existing business assistants. • Analyze supported offices' AR numbers and systems and communicate opportunities to the operations management teams. • Work to integrate and support Affiliated and Denovo (Heartland Dental created) practices that are newly supported in the company by ensuring they have the tools, training and support needed to successfully integrate with Heartland Dental. • Provide additional training on systems and timelines to set the offices up for success early. • Support all new technology and efficiencies as they are introduced. • Assist with rollouts and train on all new processes and help offices get through the stages of change to see the increased efficiency. • Build and maintain strong relationships with the rest of the Accounts Receivable team, Field AR Reps and Dental Insurance Administration (DIA - Fee Schedules and Credentialing) teams at the Effingham Support Office, to ensure cohesive support all around and a consistent message. Requirements • 2+ years' of experience in Dental or Medical Insurance or Accounts Receivable. • Strong computer skills, including experience with Microsoft Word, Outlook Excel and PowerPoint. • Strong organizational skills, accuracy and attention to detail. • Ability to work well under pressure and prioritize multiple tasks. • Strong verbal and written communication skills. • Self-starter and able to complete tasks without supervision.
