From event planning and communications to research and strategic initiatives, you’ll be at the heart of OUE’s mission to support and empower Duke students. Preferred Qualifications: • Experience working with student organizations or campus initiatives. • Familiarity with event planning and program coordination. • Skills in qualitative and quantitative research. • Experience with communications, marketing, or social media. Other Requirements: • This is an onsite position based at Duke University. • Initial appointment is for 12 months, with potential for renewal by mutual agreement. Be Bold. As the Nowicki Fellow, you will: • Collaborate with student groups and OUE’s Student Advisory Board to promote awareness of OUE’s work. • Design, plan, and assess events and activities for a diverse undergraduate audience. • Coordinate joint projects with campus partners, including Student Affairs. • Conduct research, including surveys and focus groups, with attention to underrepresented student populations. • Develop and implement internal and external communications strategies. • Prepare reports, presentations, and proposals for various stakeholders. • Support strategic initiatives and special projects across OUE. Choose Duke. The Office of Undergraduate Education is a dynamic and collaborative environment dedicated to enriching the academic and co-curricular lives of Duke students. We value innovation, inclusion, and intellectual engagement. As a Nowicki Fellow, you’ll be part of a team that shapes the student experience and fosters a vibrant campus community.
