Adult LiteracyCorps Tutor Many adults in Memphis struggle to read and write at a functional level. As a LiteracyCorps Adult Literacy Tutor, you'll provide free one-on-one or small group tutoring to help learners improve their reading, writing, and confidence. You'll also help coordinate learner-led workshops-giving adults a chance to build skills, share knowledge, and gain visibility in their community. Member Duties : ## - Provide 40, 90-minute one-on-one or small group literacy tutoring weekly - Use learner-centered strategies to support reading, writing, and comprehension - Set goals with learners and track their growth using simple tools - Help plan and attend learner-led workshops and community events - Accurately complete assessments and progress tracking - Participate in member reflection, check-ins, and training Program Benefits : Training , Living Allowance , Education award upon successful completion of service .
