The eSQIS team is a dynamic and skilled group within the Digital Finance Hub, focused on delivering critical solutions for the Costing area. We work with a wide range of data from suppliers, costings, and buyers to provide valuable financial and operational insights related to sites and parts of the car. We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Business Analyst with strong data analysis skills to join our eSQIS team. In this role, you will be a key contributor to our application development, working closely with the Product Owner, developers, and other stakeholders to define, document, and deliver solutions that address critical business needs within the Costing domain. You will be responsible for understanding complex business processes, analyzing data, and translating business requirements into clear, actionable user stories and technical specifications. Your ability to adapt to changing priorities, proactively investigate issues, and effectively communicate with diverse audiences will be essential for success. Responsibilities Requirements Elicitation & Analysis: Collaborate with the Product Owner and business stakeholders to understand business needs and objectives within the Costing area. Proactively investigate and gather information from various sources, including existing systems, documentation, and subject matter experts, to address incomplete or unclear requirements. Analyze complex data sets from various systems and APIs to identify trends, patterns, and insights. Create process flow diagrams, use cases, and other documentation to clearly illustrate business processes and requirements. User Story Development & Management: Translate business requirements into well-defined user stories with clear acceptance criteria, ensuring they are "ready" for development. Understand and prioritize technical stories and defect stories suggested by the development team. Maintain and manage the product backlog in collaboration with the Product Owner. Participate in backlog refinement sessions, sprint planning, and other Agile ceremonies. Data Analysis & Reporting: Write and execute complex SQL and NoSQL queries to extract, manipulate, and analyze data. Develop and maintain reports and dashboards to visualize data and provide insights to stakeholders. Identify data quality issues and work with the team to implement solutions. Explore and evaluate new data analysis techniques and tools to improve efficiency and accuracy. Collaboration & Communication: Serve as a liaison between business stakeholders, the Product Owner, and the development team. Communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical audiences. Present findings and recommendations to stakeholders in a clear and concise manner. Actively participate in team meetings and contribute to a collaborative and positive team environment. Maintain open communication with all parties involved in developing a feature or fixing a bug, ensuring transparency and alignment. Proactive Problem Solving & Innovation: Identify potential problems and risks proactively and propose solutions. Contribute to continuous improvement efforts by suggesting process improvements and new technologies. Research and evaluate emerging technologies, including AI, to enhance integration testing, documentation, and other development processes. Experience as a Business Analyst, preferably in a digital environment. Strong data analysis skills, including experience with SQL and NoSQL databases. Proficiency in data visualization tools Experience with Agile development methodologies (e.g., Scrum, Kanban). Excellent documentation skills, including the ability to create process diagrams, user stories, and technical specifications. Solid understanding of web application architecture and development principles. Experience working with APIs and integrating data from various systems. Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Experience in Finance -> Costing and Reporting is a plus. Desired Skills & Experience • Experience with AI tools for documentation or testing. • Familiarity with Automotive business processes and systems.
