About the position The Agile Coach - Project Manager plays a pivotal role in guiding and enabling teams and organizations to adopt and improve Agile methodologies, ensuring successful project delivery aligned with business goals. This position requires a deep understanding of Agile principles and project management practices to facilitate collaboration, remove impediments, and foster a culture of continuous improvement. The role involves working closely with cross-functional teams, stakeholders, and leadership to tailor Agile frameworks that best fit the organizational context. The Agile Coach - Project Manager is responsible for driving project execution while coaching teams to enhance their Agile maturity and productivity. Ultimately, this role ensures that projects are delivered on time, within scope, and with high quality, while promoting Agile values throughout the organization. Responsibilities • Guide teams in adopting and improving Agile frameworks (Scrum, Kanban, SAFe, etc.). • Mentor team members, product owners, leadership, and stakeholders to embrace an Agile mindset and practices. • Identify and address team or organizational impediments to continuous delivery. • Facilitate Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, retrospectives, and reviews to foster transparency and collaboration. • Champion best practices for backlog grooming, prioritization, and story writing. • Plan and oversee Waterfall and Agile based projects to ensure timely delivery of objectives. • Coordinate project scope, resources, timelines, and deliverables in alignment with organizational priorities. • Manage risks and dependencies across teams, ensuring alignment with stakeholders. • Provide regular project updates to leadership, including status reports and dashboards. • Promote a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and data-driven decision-making. • Build strong relationships with cross-functional teams, stakeholders, and leadership. • Act as a bridge between technical and business teams to align goals and expectations. • Influence positive change at both team and organizational levels. • Lead by example, modeling Agile values and behaviors. Requirements • 5+ years of experience in project management with a focus on Agile methodologies. • Certified Scrum Master (CSM), PMI Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP), or equivalent Agile certification. • Proven experience coaching Agile teams and facilitating Agile ceremonies. • Strong knowledge of Agile frameworks such as Scrum, Kanban, and SAFe. • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, or a related field. Nice-to-haves • Master’s degree in a relevant discipline. • Experience with large-scale Agile transformations in enterprise environments. • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification. • Familiarity with Agile project management tools such as Jira, Rally, or VersionOne. • Experience in software development or IT project management • Master’s degree in a relevant discipline.
