Required Qualifications: • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Biomedical Informatics, or related field. • 4+ years of hands-on experience in AI/ML engineering, preferably in healthcare or life sciences. • Strong proficiency in Python, TensorFlow, PyTorch, and SQL. • Experience with NLP, LLMs, and knowledge graph techniques for clinical text understanding. • Knowledge of FHIR, HL7, and X12 278 data exchange formats. • Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and MLOps frameworks (MLflow, Kubeflow, Vertex AI, SageMaker). • Strong understanding of data privacy, HIPAA compliance, and model explainability Preferred Qualifications: • Experience building AI tools integrated into EHR workflows (Epic, Cerner, Meditech). • Exposure to payer decision support systems such as InterQual or MCG. • Background in clinical informatics or healthcare interoperability engineering. • Familiarity with transformer-based LLMs (e.g., BERT, GPT, MedPaLM) and NLP-based reasoning models for medical text. • Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively within a team environment.
