Key responsibilities for this position can slightly vary in focus, depending on candidate’s strengths and expertise in areas of embedded software development and algorithm design. Responsibilities include: Design, modeling, implementation and optimization of analog-to-digital and digital-to-analog converter algorithms suitable for running in resource-constrained, power-sensitive and time-critical systems Clear documentation of algorithm design and usage guidelines for internal and external stakeholders Leading and participating in design reviews to ensure algorithm quality, robustness and alignment with system requirements Occasional gathering/clarification of technical specifications Close collaboration with software and hardware teams Qualifications Required Demonstrated experience implementing algorithms Strong understanding of digital signal processing principles, adaptive filtering, estimation theory and/or software engineering fundamentals Strong mathematical and problem-solving skills Expert knowledge of one and proficiency across others: MATLAB, Python, embedded C/C++ Ability to collaborate effectively across cross-functional, distributed teams, including hardware, software, test and product engineering groups Ability to set and manage priorities, adapt to change, drive progress of activities, risks and deliverables to closure MSEE in EE or ECE and 5+ years of experience or PhD in related area Preferred High speed data converter experience Knowledge of ARM and/or RISC-V processor architectures Familiarity with machine learning algorithms Leadership skills and experience in directing and mentoring junior engineers What’s in it for you Hybrid work model, home and in-office, opportunities vary depending on job function and group. Actual wage offered may vary depending on work location , experience, education, training, external market data, internal pay equity, or other bona fide factors. This position qualifies for a discretionary performance-based bonus which is based on personal and company factors.
