Tree Line Capital Partners is a private credit asset management firm focused on direct lending to the lower middle market. They are seeking to hire Credit Analysts to provide analytical support and account management, with responsibilities including financial analysis and underwriting. Responsibilities Provide monitoring and analytical support, including financial statement analysis, covenant compliance analysis and overall risk and trend analysis Present the status of their accounts to the Investment Committee on a monthly and quarterly basis Assigned to new asset underwritings where activities will include financial analysis, model development, underwriting analysis, industry research, and the preparation of memos and presentations utilized during the due diligence phase of an investment Interact daily with other TLCP investment professionals to support not only the investment side of the business but fundraising and other strategic initiatives Play a central role in coordinating the activities of all team members Skills Undergraduate Bachelors' Degree in Business (Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, etc.) At least one year of experience preferred in investment and/or commercial banking, accounting, or consulting Recently graduated candidates will be considered but will have completed an Undergraduate Bachelors' Degree in Business as well as relevant internships in finance and investing Superior academic achievement with demonstrated interest or competency in finance including command of financial statement analysis Demonstrated leadership ability and initiative Strong quantitative skills, including financial modeling, financial statement analysis as well as critical thinking and problem solving Natural curiosity regarding investing in general and private markets Excellent organization, communication, and research skills with the ability to succinctly express and present ideas Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Power Point, and Word) Demonstrated ability to develop and maintain positive working relationships with colleagues of all levels as well as an ability to interact with borrowers and private equity sponsors Strong ability to juggle priorities, multi-task and take ownership of projects is essential Benefits Health, dental and vision insurance 401k employer contributions Hybrid in-office / remote work environment Company Overview Streamlined Process that Delivers Our Borrowers an Edge.
