Antitrust Casebook Editor/Project Manager
Professor Lina Khan, Zephyr Teachout, Shaoul Sussman, and Tim Wu are seeking a project editor and manager to help coordinate the completion of a multi-author antitrust/antimonopoly casebook for 2Ls and 3Ls. The work involves balancing project logistics and editorial across multiple chapters in different stages of development. Responsibilities Project Management • Maintain a detailed spreadsheet of tasks and deadlines. • Serve as task-master: keeping the project on schedule for a 3-month delivery. Track progress across chapters (with different writers and at different stages). • Compile drafts into a coherent whole • Manage RAs working with different authors • Manage communication between co-authors Editorial Work • Provide legal editing of draft chapters (citations, case extracts, explanatory text). • Ensure consistency in style, tone, and structure across chapters • Work with authors on revisions Qualifications • Legal training (JD or equivalent), ideally with familiarity in antitrust and contemporary debates in the field. • Demonstrated experience in editing legal/academic writing • Strong project management skills • Ability to balance high-level substantive editing with fine-grained cite/style work.
