Role: Appian Product Manager Location: USA Remote Contract to hire 6 months of contract then conversion Job description: Appian experience of 5+ is a must have. Insurance industry is a plus What You'll do: • Own and communicate Appian solution capabilities to a wide variety of business and technical audiences to illustrate the value of the solution. • Work with business leaders to understand priorities and identify opportunities for Appian to deliver value within the business roadmap. • Coordinate proactively across partner functions and structure shared roadmaps for best outcomes. • Create a strategy to balance multiple priorities and use cases across multiple business lines. • Oversee the development of user stories, acceptance criteria, and business requirements. • Build relationships with key business stakeholders, keeping them apprised of important features, critical scope changes, planned investments. • Lead the creation and ongoing maintenance of a multi-team, short-term and long-term feature backlogs aligned to business roadmaps. • Work with business SMEs, engineers and designers from ideation, technical design, and development to the testing, production, and/or release of the solutions. • Lead team to drive progress against goals and milestones, and resolve challenges and blockers, while maintaining team health. • Support implementation teams consisting of multiple development pods. • Create and document implementation best practices as well as knowledge base articles for internal enablement. Required Qualifications: • 5+ years of experience with Appian solutions • Bachelor's Degree (or equivalent) or higher in Computer Science, Information Systems, Systems Engineering, or related area • Expert experience with Appian delivery using an Agile methodology • Strong technical design and implementation and problem-solving skills • Strong experience with building intuitive and attractive Appian user interfaces and designs • Experience working with a cross-functional product team on a significant product area: Crafting product vision and strategy, defining product requirements, coordinating resources from other groups (technology, marketing, legal, etc.), and driving the team to achieve key milestones and goals • Strong communication skills and ability to convey complex concepts in an easy-to-understand manner, both verbally and written; active listening skills to gather key information from internal and external partners; analytical and strategic foresight Preferred Skills: • UI/UX Design • Cloud Computing/IaaS (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) • Data management and data visualization/BI • DevSecOps and/or Configuration Management • Machine Learning, Artificial Intelligence Apply tot his job
