Learn more about PVA at PartnerVal.com Job Summary Partner Valuation Advisors (PVA) is searching for a certified general license appraiser to assist with on-site property inspections and final review of appraisal reports. This role will primarily focus on the inspection requirements and will require a large amount of travel (50%+ per month). Additionally, this role will require the appraiser to perform a final review of the client deliverable on those jobs they inspected to ensure that the report is in USPAP compliance for all subject property site and physical improvement descriptions as well as surrounding area descriptions observed during the inspection. As previously mentioned, this role will be travel heavy and should not be considered by applicants who are not able to accommodate travel time. All travel related costs will be covered by PVA, in accordance to our Travel & Expense policy. A certified general real estate license is required for this role. Applicants without a CG license will not be considered. Responsibilities and Duties • Oversee preparation of necessary exhibits and memos in illustration of inspections • Frequent travel to on-site properties based on assigned work requests. • Management of travel arrangement requirements and associated expense reports • Participate in internal and external client meetings, as needed • Build strong relationships with market and business line leaders to exchange best practices, accelerate innovation and ensure quality and consistency Qualifications • Issued and active Certified General Real Estate Appraiser license in at least 1 state with willingness to become licensed in multiple states • MAI designation or candidate, preferred • Bachelor's degree, preferably (but not required) in Accounting, Finance, Economics or other relevant field required • Strategic understanding of commercial real estate appraisal • Active driver’s license and ability to easily travel between states • Strong attention to detail and excellent time/calendar management is strongly desired • Prior experience and expertise with Microsoft products, especially Outlook and Teams • Active Certified General Appraiser License, required Physical Requirements • Must be able to drive to asset tours, airline travel may also be necessary • Must be able to communicate clearly in person, over the telephone and via emails • Visual acuity adequate to perform job duties, including reading information from printed sources and computer screen • Must be able to read, write, speak & comprehend English We will consider qualified applicants who have criminal histories in a manner consistent with the law.
