About the position Join our dynamic team as an Area Business Strategist within Interventional Solutions at Boston Scientific. In this role, you will play a crucial part in shaping the success of our sales organization by procuring, managing, and ensuring the quality of data for insightful analytics - and by developing solutions to evolve analytics and reporting capabilities. We are looking for a proactive, analytical, and solutions-driven professional with strong leadership and problem-solving skills. As a key contributor, you will design and develop tools and analyses that empower our sales team to stay focused and productive. Collaboration is at the heart of what we do, and you will partner closely with cross-functional teams across Marketing, Finance, Sales, Sales Operations, and IT to devise solutions, solve problems, and influence strategic business decisions. Responsibilities • Collaborate closely with sales management to understand business needs. • Synthesize information to generate meaningful analyses. • Develop reports and sales performance tools to enhance decision-making. • Implement best practices to improve commercial operations execution and efficiency. • Provide project support for sales and sales operations initiatives to drive sales and operational effectiveness. • Partner with IT to enhance and troubleshoot systems, data, and processes impacting the sales organization. • Communicate effectively with business partners and the sales team. • Serve as a representative for sales analytics in cross-functional project teams. • Demonstrate active participation in meetings with managers, directors, and vice presidents. • Collaborate directly with field leadership on special projects or initiatives. • Act as the primary contact for issue resolution and system enhancements. • Partner with team members to define standards and best practices. Requirements • Bachelor's degree required. • Minimum of 5 years' experience in sales, sales support, marketing, or a related field. • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills. • Skilled in handling large datasets to identify trends and insights. • Highly organized, self-directed, and able to work independently. • Proficiency with Microsoft Office programs, including Excel and Access. • Exposure to Alteryx or other data transformation platforms. • Understanding of and experience with data management and database design. • Proficiency and demonstrated experience with VBA and SQL strongly preferred.
