ASSISTANT DESIGNER, GLOBAL LICENSING AND LIFESTYLE CONCEPT DESIGN

The Assistant Designer will work closely with the Designer II and Design Director to create seasonal concept stories, conduct research, and support the development of design direction for licensed products. Responsibilities Research, collate and support the development of seasonal story boards including customer, season, mood, key products, and storytelling Assist in building showrooms as needed to display the seasonal concepts Support the creation of a digital format that is shareable to all teams Manage and return borrowed samples to appropriate teams Maintain in-house material, sample and color libraries Coordinate packages being sent and received from licensees Collaborate with the team on building concept decks for licensed product Support building of design presentations requested by brand leadership Work on additional concept projects as needed by the business Skills At least 0-2 years of demonstrative experience in fashion/design business, in a design role Ability to collaborate with designers and cross-functional roles of all levels Ability to communicate to senior management in a clear, precise, and effective manner Must demonstrate curiosity and is motivated to learn new skills and knowledge B.A. (or higher) in Design, Graphic Design or Product Development Employ a strong project management skill set (initiation, planning, execution, monitoring, closing) to handle multiple projects and objectives while maintaining flexibilities to changing priorities and demands Proficient in MS Office suites, Adobe Suite, Keynote, Miro Benefits Competitive pay, bonus programs, best in class medical insurance, vision insurance, dental insurance, life insurance, disability insurance, and more.
