ASSOCIATE ACCOUNTING ANALYST
The California High-Speed Rail Authority is a dynamic state agency looking for an Associate Accounting Analyst to support its accounting operations. The role involves performing accounting functions with a focus on Accounts Payable reporting to ensure compliance with applicable principles and regulations. Responsibilities Perform accounting functions under direction of the Accounting Administrator I Support the development, administration, and monitoring of the Authority’s accounting operations through accounting plans, policies, procedures, and standards Ensure that sound accounting decisions are made and adhered to Perform tasks with a concentration on Accounts Payable reporting functions to ensure the fiscal integrity of accounting data and compliance with all applicable accounting principles, state, federal and organizational rules, regulations, and procedures Skills Current version of the State Examination/Employment Application STD Form 678 (when not applying electronically), or the Electronic State Employment Application through your Applicant Account at www.CalCareers.ca.gov.
