Associate Consultant

JMAN Group is a fast-growing data engineering & data science consultancy that works primarily with Private Equity Funds and their Portfolio Companies. The Associate Consultant role focuses on delivering high calibre commercial and technical solutions for clients while developing client relationships and supporting internal projects. Responsibilities Work as part of a small project team to deliver & build commercial & technical solutions for our clients Develop & maintain client relationships including identifying & helping realize new business opportunities Take responsibility for your own personal development, supported by our L&D team, by completing internal and external training initiatives as required Support (& lead) internal projects & activities (e.g. Develop new client solutions, Organize Office Socials) Act as an ambassador of JMAN values and provide mentorship to more junior team members as you become more experienced Skills You have an excellent academic background and strong quantitative ability You are proactive and are a high achiever in your chosen area of interest (e.g. Student Council, College Sports Team etc) You have excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think about a problem from first principles Data science experience (e.g. undergraduate major) is valuable but not required (many of our best people were humanities students who then learned technical skills only once they joined JMAN) Knowledge of analytical tools including Tableau, PowerBI, Alteryx, Python, etc is valuable but not required Numerate and commercially minded You are ambitious, thoughtful, and not afraid to voice your opinion (e.g. Suggest a change in how the business could be run or voice an idea on how we could improve how we deliver a project) You thrive under pressure and see challenges as opportunities You display a high level of self-awareness and take ownership of your personal development areas You are a self-starter and happy to get do whatever is required to help grow our US office Benefits Hybrid working - minimum of 4 days in the office Competitive discretionary bonus - based on personal and company performance 37 days of annual leave (including most public holidays) Generous 401k contribution High quality private health insurance (Health, dental, vision) Employees can contribute pre-tax dollars each month toward commuting costs Market-leading parental leave policy Referral bonus for bringing in new JMAN hires Extensive training and coaching opportunities Free catered lunch provided every Friday Regular company socials and retreats Company Overview JMAN Group is a management consultancy that specializes in creating simple solutions to complex business problems across all industry.
