Associate Designer: Legwear

Gina Group is an industry-leading wholesale fashion apparel and accessories company specializing in design, manufacturing, and distribution to retail markets. They are looking for an Associate legwear designer to join their team, responsible for designing seasonal collections and collaborating closely with the design director and product development team. Responsibilities Design ownership over selected licensed brands and assigned to you based on your aesthetic and creative strengths, responsible for CADing full seasonal collections CAD work for various private label accounts, typically fun prints with understanding of brand DNA Strong eye for trend and valuable market research Work closely with design director and senior designers with creative freedom throughout process Minimal communication with China, but important to know how they operate, problem solve when technical or timing setbacks arise Work closely with product development team so they properly develop your design the way you envision Primarily design in Illustrator with minimal retouching in Photoshop Skills 1-3 years of industry experience Excellent time management skills Strong project management skills Ability to meet deadlines Development mindset, wanting to grow and learn Ability to be agile while working in a fast-paced environment Proficient in illustrator Impeccable work ethic Positive team player Associate or bachelor's degree preferred Benefits Hybrid work schedule (4 days onsite; 1 day work from home) & early Fridays Generous PTO and paid holidays Comprehensive health, dental and vision coverage with FSA or HSA options Pet insurance and pet discounts Identity theft protection Discounted life insurance Short and long-term disability insurance 401K & Profit sharing Pre-tax commuter benefits Professional development Team building and Company events Company Overview Gina Group is wholesale fashion apparel, accessories, and lifestyle company.
