Reporting to the Director of Development, the Associate Director of Development Services is responsible for the leadership, management and maintenance of development information systems. This position serves as primary liaison from Development to assist the Controller with reconciliation and is responsible for fundraising progress reporting. The role is also responsible for preparing high-quality, confidential research materials on donors, ensuring they are managed through the prospect pipeline and assigned to fundraising staff, and evaluating the on-going progress of solicitation efforts. To be successful in this role, you must: • Direct the accurate daily processing of contributions and membership transactions; lead and support the implementation of online donor portals. • Lead the prospect research function for the MCA. Oversee the integration of wealth screening results into the prospect pipeline; with frontline fundraiser support, lead a system of assigning, tracking, and evaluating prospect research data and prospect movement through the donor pipeline. • Supervise, mentor, train, and oversee direct reports on a day-to-day basis, including oversight of special projects and staff management to ensure the effective and efficient operation of all assigned activities and responsibilities and accountability for results; facilitate strong performance and achievement of key metrics; and provide on-going feedback to assigned direct reports to address, resolve, and/or encourage performance and/or engagement-related matters. • Serve as the primary liaison from Development to assist the Controller with reconciliation between fundraising databases and the general ledger. • Lead, create and execute the regular and consistent review of the Raisers Edge database record management policies and develop policies, procedures and business rules pertaining to prospect management following codes of conduct by the Association of Professional Researchers for Advancement (APRA). • In collaboration with the Director of Development, develop and distribute quarterly fundraising reports including: revenue forecasting, contribution receivables, Trustee Annual Fund progress and unfunded proposals. • Design, develop and execute regular fundraising reports as well as ad-hoc reports at the request of the Director of Development and other Development staff. Support the production of dashboards and collaborate with frontline fundraisers to design and implement systems for tracking and reporting on appeals, portfolios, and other constituent tracking for staff and volunteer leaders. This is a full-time position, with a Monday - Friday 9a-5p schedule that may occasionally include evening and weekend availability as required to fulfill responsibilities and for related museum activities. Ability to perform occasional light lifting, operate computers, printers, and telephones and general mobility throughout the building required. The salary for this role ranges from $66,650 - $86,650.
