Responsibilities • Lead the OEM meetings and relationship management of device costs, promotions, distribution opportunities, and marketing initiatives for Value. • Partner with Verizon Sourcing to assist in promotional negotiations with our OEM partners; delivering on roadmap pricing requirements in collaboration with Sales and Brand Leads. • Partner with subsidy manager, revenue assurance, and data modeling teams to ensure promotions are within budget. • Analyze ROI of previous promotions and provide recommendations based on business needs. • Communicate approved device permanent and promotional pricing to Value organization. • Own the documentation process for pricing within the roadmaps, visualizers, MSRP list, and price change alerts. • Own the business liaison for supply chain role and business intelligence role. • Responsible for seeing end to end strategy of device pricing and assortment from the OEM partnerships, to subsidy modeling with finance, and demand planning needs with shipments and inventory availability. • Analyze the financial profitability of Value segment Brand device promotions through the development of business cases with multiple scenarios. • Partner with pricing and insights data scientists and BI teams to further automate modeling and disseminate insights to create more effective business decisions. • Be the Value lead on business interests with Supply Chain/Demand Planning as a liaison and partner together on Supply Chain initiatives. • Manage internal financial communication with sourcing, accounting, revenue assurance, and FP&A on OEM contracts, status, and promotional funding to ensure all modeling and the P&L is accurate. • Review monthly financial statements variance analysis for all expenses related to handset subsidy and present to senior management. • Proactively identify possible scenarios, risks and opportunities around business performance by partnering with OEMs, brand, and sales. • Review monthly financial statements variance analysis for all expenses related to logistics and supply chain and provide readouts and recommendations to senior management. • Communicate with partners in a clear and concise manner. Requirements • Bachelor's degree or four or more years of work experience. • Eight or more years of relevant experience required, demonstrated through work experience and/or military experience. • Experience with project and/or program management. • Experience leading a team. • Willingness to travel up to approximately 25% of the time. Nice-to-haves • MBA or Master's Degree. • Ten or more years of relevant experience. • Demonstrated experience in establishing and cultivating cross functional partnerships. • Experience managing large complex projects involving multiple work streams and stakeholders. • Ability to work under pressure on multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines. • Excellent organization and time-management skills. • An eye for detail and creativity and a passion for high quality output. • Strong project management skills, multi-tasking is vital to success. • Proficiency in MS Office and G-suite. • Experience managing and influencing client relationships at the senior executive level. • Ability to present and interact with all levels of management. • Management and excellent communication skills and executive presence. • Presented findings and insights targeted to what that audience cares about (up to the executive level). • The ability to influence without direct authority.
