The Impact of Associate Supply Chain Consultant to Coupa: This is your chance to bring your passion for solving difficult problems to a fast-growing, dynamic, entrepreneurial team that is pushing the boundaries of Supply Chain logistics and optimization. What You’ll Do: • Design and deliver supply chain management and strategic sourcing solutions using Supply Chain Modeler tools and methodologies. • Analyze key client performance levers (e.g., on-time delivery, cost, feasibility) and develop strategies to improve these metrics. • Execute project plans under the guidance of project managers or engagement leads, including developing modeling approaches with solution architects. • Conduct structured and creative analyses to identify performance improvement opportunities, validate data and models, and communicate insights effectively to clients. • Fully document modeling approaches, data sources, assumptions, and constraints while preparing and delivering professional client presentations. • Participate in diverse projects involving operations research, optimization, and simulation, gaining exposure to advanced technologies and real-world logistics challenges with Fortune 500 companies, consulting firms, humanitarian agencies, and the military. What you will bring to Coupa: • Experience in or knowledge of supply chain planning and design (or demonstrated ability to quickly learn and apply complex technical skills): • Some knowledge of the principles of optimization and how optimization is performed using software packages • Understanding of simulation and the differences between optimization and simulation • Familiarity with planning, forecasting, transportation, inventory management, and strategic sourcing • Database skills strongly desired • Some programming skills a plus, especially in optimization software packages • Currently enrolled in or completed Bachelor or Masters’ program focused on industrial engineering, operations research, or supply chain management • Ideal candidate would have some previous supply chain consulting experience #LI-Remote #LI-TC1 Coupa complies with relevant laws and regulations regarding equal opportunity and offers a welcoming and inclusive work environment.
