Job Description: ProArch is seeking an Associate Test Lead with 5–8 years of experience to lead manual testing efforts, manage testing teams, and actively participate in requirement discussions with clients and stakeholders. The role involves requirement analysis, test planning, task management, team mentoring, client communication, and suggesting automation where applicable. A strong understanding of automation frameworks is required to guide the team, collaborate with automation engineers, and present demos to clients. Responsibilities: Lead and manage manual testing efforts across web, mobile, and API applications. Participate in requirement calls, ask clarifying questions, and ensure proper requirement understanding. Create, review, and execute detailed test plans, test cases, and test scenarios. Assign, track, and manage testing tasks within the QA team to ensure on-time delivery. Provide leadership and mentorship to manual testers, ensuring best practices are followed. Collaborate with product, QA, and development teams in Agile sprint planning and execution. Suggest automation opportunities and collaborate with automation engineers to optimize coverage. Understand existing automation frameworks and scripts, provide feedback, and support integration. Conduct test demos, report results, and communicate status effectively with stakeholders and clients. Participate in defect triage, provide impact analysis, and ensure quality delivery. Requirements B. Tech in Computer Science, IT, or equivalent degree. 5–8 years of hands-on experience in manual testing across web, mobile, and API platforms. Experience in requirement analysis, client communication, and QA team leadership. Strong knowledge of test management practices, Agile methodologies, and defect lifecycle. Familiarity with automation frameworks (POM/BDD) and scripting in Java/Python/JavaScript. Ability to suggest automation areas and collaborate effectively with automation engineers. Experience in mentoring and managing junior testers. Strong communication skills for client calls, demos, and cross-team collaboration. Good to Have Skills: Basic hands-on in Selenium, Cypress, or similar automation tools. Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and automation integration. Familiarity with advanced test reporting and analytics (e.g., Allure, TestNG reports). Exposure to tools like Git/SVN, Jenkins, Docker.
