Join the Dynamic Team at Disney Entertainment Television Disney Entertainment Television (DET) Marketing is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Audio Support Engineer and Systems Administrator to join our award-winning team. As a critical member of our post-production support team, you will work closely with FX Network's Marketing team and DET Marketing to ensure seamless execution of FX's programming and promos in a fast-paced television broadcast environment. About the Role We are looking for a talented Audio Support Engineer and Systems Administrator who can provide high-level front-line technical support for all post-production facilities. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for troubleshooting, resolving customer issues, and ensuring the integrity and availability of all hardware, server resources, systems, and key processes. Key Responsibilities: Provide high-level front-line technical support for all post-production facilities, including troubleshooting and resolving customer issues Research, diagnose, and identify solutions to resolve complex technical issues Follow standard procedures for proper escalation of unresolved issues to the appropriate internal teams Assess, troubleshoot, and resolve user issues and failures Perform system monitoring, verifying the integrity and availability of all hardware, server resources, systems, and key processes, reviewing system and application logs Orchestrate workstation management, imaging, and configuration using JAMF and Altiris Document knowledge in the form of knowledge base tech notes and articles Collaborate with the team to plan and implement upgrades for all post-production systems Requirements and Qualifications Essential Qualifications: Expertise in Avid Pro Tools, S6 consoles, Nexis storage, and signal routing Knowledgeable in storage systems, including Quantum, Isilon, and Avid Understanding of post-production workflows, including Editing, Audio Mixing, VFX, Motion Graphics, and Print Strong analytical problem-solving skills Skilled in MacOS, Windows, and Linux operating systems Effectively document problems and their resolutions Preferred Qualifications: Knowledge and experience with reading technical drawings and documentation Knowledge of room acoustical layout for stereo and 5.1 mixing, speaker SPL calibration, and room tuning Ability to quickly prioritize decisions when given incomplete or conflicting information Highly self-directed; able to manage and (re)prioritize multiple concurrent and competing challenges and issues Great communication and interpersonal skills; take pride in delivering customer satisfaction What We Offer Compensation and Benefits: We offer a competitive salary and a comprehensive benefits package, including opportunities for career growth and professional development.
