What you can expect at your practice: • Seeking an Audiologist to perform diagnostic testing 3 days a week (8am-5pm) across all age groups and populations. This role focuses exclusively on diagnostic evaluations, with no responsibilities for hearing device fitting, programming, or maintenance. • Conduct hearing evaluations and diagnostic tests to assess auditory and balance disorders for all ages. • Interpret test results and provide accurate diagnoses of hearing impairments or balance issues. • Counsel patients and their families on hearing loss, treatment options, and effective communication strategies. • Educate patients on the prevention of hearing loss, including noise exposure risks and ear protection. • Perform otoscopic examination. • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care and referral services. • Maintain accurate and thorough patient records and documenting diagnosis. • Perform vestibular assessments and manage balance disorder treatments (if applicable). • Perform administrative duties such as scheduling appointments and managing patient referrals. • Stay updated with the latest advancements in audiology through continuous education and training. • Implement and/or coordinate community, school-based, or occupational hearing screening and conservation programs (if applicable). • Supervise audiology assistants who provide support functions to the practice of audiology in addition to audiology students (if applicable) Our Total Rewards package includes: • Comprehensive health benefits • Flexible spending and health savings accounts • Retirement savings plan • Paid time off (PTO) • Short-term disability • Financial education and support, including DailyPay • Wellness and Wellbeing programs • Caregiver support via Wellthy • Childcare referral service via Wellthy A place to call home: You'll feel at home in our sophisticated medical community in the heart of Central Pennsylvania.
