Job Description Responsible for creating a comprehensive estimate of damages for 1st and 3rd party material damage claims leading to the proper disposition. Key Responsibilities • Demonstrates sound estimating fundamentals in order to create estimates of damages on 1st and 3rd party material damage losses • Demonstrates basic understanding of the content of all policy types written by the company • Negotiates settlements, makes settlement payments and documents all activities in the file within authority limits • Applies sound understanding of regulatory compliance and fair claims practices • Builds functional relationships with both internal and external customers Education • 4 year Bachelors Degree (Preferred) Experience • 0-2 years experience (Preferred) Supervisory Responsibilities • This job does not have supervisory duties. Education & Experience (in lieu) • In lieu of the above education requirements, an equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered. Compensation Base compensation offered for this role is $19.92 -$37.74 hourly and is based on experience and qualifications. • ** Total compensation for this role is comprised of several factors, including the base compensation outlined above, plus incentive pay (i.e. commission, bonus, etc.) as applicable for the role.
