The position as Automation Chemist is an opportunity for candidates who would like to develop their careers from a central role as Automation Chemist into positions like Sales Manager or Workflow Architect. Key Responsibilities For This Position Will Include • Prepare, transfer, and execute a variety of different workflows and chemical tests on our automated workstations • Present with enthusiasm our innovative workflow solutions during demos, tests • Be the ultimate go-to person for troubleshooting and application support for our customers worldwide (e.g. by HoloLens mixed reality remote assistance) • Help to further develop our solutions with innovative ideas • Installation of our automated laboratory solutions at our customer sites, user training and customer support Qualifications • Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry. Master's degree will also be accepted. • Extensive lab experience preferably combined with industry experience and instrumentation • Ability to ineract with Chemspeed customers, incl travel to our north american customer sites or conferences and exhibitions. • Interest to combine chemistry with modern laboratory and automation equipment • Excellent communication skills in English - speaking German is a plus • Independent working, high degree of initiative and ready to integrate in a team of highly motivated automation chemists • Valid Driver License in good standing, issued by resident state required, with reliable transportation • U.S. Citizenship or U.S. Permanent Resident status required. • Maintain a valid passport with flexibility for domestic and international travel. • May be required to pass security clearance investigation. At Chemspeed the base salary is part of our total compensation. The estimated base salary range for this full-time position is between $70,000 and $103,000 and provides an opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base salary for the role will depend on several job-related factors, including, but not limited to, education, training, experience, the geographic location of the successful candidate, skills, competencies, job-related knowledge, and travel requirements for this position.
