Automation Engineer, AI Enabled Workflows – Contract
Job Description: • Rapidly architect and implement complex automation workflows primarily utilizing advanced Zapier features. • Integrate and productionize AI tools into workflows to automate key business processes. • Focus on immediate process streamlining in areas like Co-op billing and onboarding. • Independently configure and manage 3rd party business application integrations. • Produce clear, robust, and detailed technical documentation for all delivered automations. • Ensure all deployed automations are robust, highly available, and error-tolerant. • Collaborate with internal teams to identify repetitive tasks and opportunities for automation. Requirements: • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science or related field (or equivalent practical experience). • 5+ years of demonstrable, hands-on experience in workflow automation, with a portfolio showcasing advanced Zapier implementations. • Proven expertise in designing and implementing API integrations (REST, Webhooks, OAuth, JSON handling). • Expert-level understanding of the MarTech/AdTech ecosystem. • Deep experience specifically integrating Generative AI APIs into automated business workflows. • Strong technical proficiency in a programming language such as Python or JavaScript.
