CPS IT Solutions (CPS) is searching for an Automation Test Engineer with superior Technical Test Documentation experience to support software test planning, execution, and reporting. As an Automation Test Engineer you will be working on Quality Assurance projects for our Department of Veteran Affairs Mobile Health Stakeholders. This involves interpreting requirements, testing programs, supporting our engineering team, and helping ensure that the quality of our products is meeting the needs of our stakeholders. As an Automation Test Engineer, you will be required to interpret and verify requirements, write test scripts, execute those scripts, investigate, analyze test results, build and maintain automated regression test suites and integrate them into build processes, and report any issues back to stakeholders and development teams. It will be necessary to interact with other teams to work through issues and collaborate on mitigations. As an Automation Test Engineer, you will perform tasks related to (functional, regression, performance, load, end-to-end, information assurance, integration, and security) testing using manual and automated test tools. Qualified applicants must be detail-oriented, result-driven individuals who work well within team environments and have good interpersonal skills, as well as good client interaction skills. Requirements: • At least 5 years’ experience in software testing including performance, regression and functional testing • At least 5 years in developing, executing and reporting on test plans and procedures • Experience with SQA best practices • Experience with Mobile Application testing (Web, Hybrid, Native) • Experience with code coverage testing • Experience with Test Case Management tools (X-ray-Atlassian Tool) • Experience with Test Automation tools and technologies (Visual Studio Code, Playwright, Typescript) • Experience with load testing and automation tools Preferred Experience • 1-2 years experience in Agile methodology • 1-2 years experience performing testing in VA environment • Experience with Atlassian tools (Jira, Confluence, BitBucket) • Familiarity with Amazon Simple Storage Service (S3) • Current VA clearance and credentials Degree: • BA or BS degree required.
