Job Description: We are seeking dependable and detail-oriented Customer Service Representatives to support inbound inquiries from recipients of government benefit programs. In this role, you will provide clear, accurate, and respectful assistance regarding account status, eligibility, and general benefit information. This position offers a path to remote work based on individual performance and attendance. Job Title: Call Center Customer Service Representative (Remote Eligible After Training) Location: Albany, NY 12205 Job Type: Full-time | On-site during training | Remote eligible post-training Pay: During Training (3.5 weeks): • $15.50/hour non-bilingual • $16.00/hour for bilingual candidates Post-Training: • $16.00/hour non-bilingual • $16.50/hour for bilingual candidates • Opportunity to earn up to $22.50/hour through the performance-based ABC Program Training Schedule (On-Site): • Duration: 3.5 weeks • Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:30 AM – 5:30 PM • Breaks: One 30-minute lunch and two 10-minute breaks Post-Training Schedule: • Hours: Monday to Friday, between 8:00 AM – 7:00 PM (40 hours/week) • Weekends Off: Saturday and Sunday Key Responsibilities: • Answer inbound calls from individuals receiving government assistance • Provide accurate and concise information regarding account status and benefits • Handle confidential information with professionalism and compliance • Meet performance benchmarks, including a goal of 5 calls per hour after 6 months • Demonstrate reliability and commitment to attendance, especially during training • Maintain a courteous and empathetic approach with all callers Additional Details: • Remote Work Eligibility: Based on performance after training • Work Location During Training: 2 Computer Drive South, Albany, NY 12205 • Dress Code: Casual (no shorts or sweatpants) • Start Requirements: May begin employment pending background check and drug screen • Compensation Process: Paid through FEPS Why Join Our Team? • Make a direct impact by supporting those receiving critical government benefits • Bilingual pay incentives available • Opportunity to earn up to $22.50/hour through the performance-based ABC Program • Stable weekday schedule with weekends off • Career growth potential with remote flexibility Apply today to be part of a mission-driven team making a real difference in people’s lives.
