Role Overview We’re seeking an experienced Bioinformatics Consultant to help design, validate, and optimise the data pipelines that turn raw genetic and biomarker data into high-value, actionable insights. This is a contract/consulting role working directly with the founder and development team to refine SNP/biomarker selection, polygenic scoring models, and trait mapping — with a focus on athletic performance, recovery, and longevity. Responsibilities Curate and validate SNP, methylation, and biomarker panels relevant to performance, nutrition, and recovery. Develop algorithms for trait scoring and polygenic risk calculations. Translate complex genomic and biomarker data into athlete-friendly output. Advise on integration of multi-omics data (genetic, epigenetic, bloodwork). Ensure scientific accuracy and alignment with latest research. Requirements Advanced degree in Bioinformatics, Computational Biology, Genetics, or related field. Proven experience with SNP analysis, GWAS, and biomarker interpretation. Proficiency in R, Python, or other bioinformatics tools. Experience working with consumer genomics or sports performance data is highly desirable. Ability to balance scientific rigour with consumer-friendly output. Apply tot his job
