Blog Writer Needed – Rewrite Competitor Articles for Local SEO (3 Posts per Week) - Contract to Hire

We are looking for a reliable content writer to help us build out our website’s blog with high-quality, SEO-optimised posts targeting local suburbs. This is an ongoing role with consistent weekly work. You do not need to write from scratch — we will supply competitor blog links, suburb names, keywords, and photos. Your job is to rewrite the content using AI or your own writing skills to make it original and optimised for local SEO. Weekly Tasks (3 Blog Posts per Week): Source the Blog Content We will provide a competitor blog post to rewrite. Rewrite and Localise the Content Use AI or your own skills to rewrite the post so it is 100% original and plagiarism-free. The post must focus on the specific local suburb we provide (e.g. "tree removal in Jimboomba"). Optimise for SEO Use proper headings (H1 for the title, H2 for subheadings, etc.) Include keywords naturally in the content Write a meta title and meta description Use clear, readable formatting Linking Strategy Include 1 internal link to a relevant service page on our website Include 1–2 internal links to other existing blog posts Include 1–2 external links to high-quality, relevant sources (or one of our other websites, if applicable) Upload and Format Upload the final blog post to our WordPress site (access provided) Insert the images we supply Ensure the layout is clean, easy to read, and mobile-friendly What We’re Looking For: Strong English writing skills Experience with SEO-friendly content writing Knowledge of how to structure a blog post properly Ability to work independently and meet weekly deadlines Basic WordPress editing skills preferred (not essential — we can train) To Apply: Start your application with the word “LocalSEO” so we know you read the full brief Show us one or two blog posts you’ve written (especially if they target services or local areas) Let us know your rate for 3 posts per week (each around 600–800 words) This is long-term, consistent work for the right person.
