Type: Internship | Remote | 10–15 hours per week | 3-6 Months • Please note this is a remote position, but local travel may be required when covering stories. Ideal for: College students studying journalism, communications, or media About Us We are a new Christian, faith-led startup news company. As a startup, we’re not an established newsroom, we’re building one from the ground up. That means you won’t just report the news, you’ll be able to help create the foundation, shape our voice, and grow our brand. This is not a traditional newsroom internship. You’ll be part of a small, creative team where every idea matters, where collaboration and innovation drive what we do, and where faith guides our mission. What You’ll Do • Research, pitch or be assigned to write, a minimum of 1–2 news or feature stories per week • Contribute to vision and content meetings and share creative input • Conduct interviews, gather content, and occasionally appear on camera • Help shape our editorial style and grow our audience • Work both independently and collaboratively with the team • Participate in weekly meetings (1–2 per week) and stay engaged remotely What We’re Looking For • Current college student (journalism, media, or communications preferred) • Excellent writing, storytelling, and research skills • Confident on-camera presence and ability to engage diverse audiences • Creative thinker with fresh perspective and excitement for building something new • Comfortable in a Christian, faith-based environment led by prayer and devotionals • Reliable phone with a good camera for recording content • Microphones for recording audio (this can be provided) • Able to commit 10–15 hours per week What You’ll Gain • Hands-on experience in startup journalism — learning by doing • Opportunity to help build a media brand from scratch, that includes helping to grow our audience, driving traffic to our website and social media and if possible attending events to help promote the company • One-on-One Mentorship by industry professionals, feedback, and real-world experience • Exposure to both writing and broadcast journalism • A meaningful role in faith-driven storytelling Job Type: Internship Pay: $8.00 - $10.00 per hour Expected hours: 10 – 15 per week Application Question(s): • What college do you currently attend? • What do you hope to gain from this internship? • What degree are you currently pursuing in college? • What interests you in working for a Christian company? • You are required to complete a background check, send in writing samples, provide 3 references and complete a video screening.
