Business Development Manager – Commercial
Job Description: • Develop and implement a strategic prospecting plan for high-value accounts. • Collaborate with the Revenue Management Team and Sales Engineer to make informed pricing decisions based on competitive spend analysis, servicing needs, and future commitments. • Partner with internal resources, including support teams, account executives, and category experts, to meet customer requirements and ensure a seamless onboarding experience. • Build and deliver impactful presentations tailored to prospect needs, both virtually and in person. • Map a sales strategy for large potential customers, leveraging collaboration with category experts to close deals. • Maintain detailed knowledge of Staples’ products and services to address customer challenges effectively. • Utilize prescribed sales tools to prioritize activities, document customer engagements, and drive efficiency. Requirements: • 3+ years of experience in a business development • High School Diploma / GED • Experience using PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook. • Bachelor’s degree (preferred). • Knowledge of Customer Relationship Management tool (CRM) (preferred).
