ClearPoint Strategy is an industry-leading SaaS company located in Arlington, VA, looking for a Business Development Representative to drive growth and acquire new customers. The role involves identifying customer challenges, qualifying leads, and collaborating with various teams to enhance sales processes while achieving sales goals. Responsibilities Become an expert in identifying challenges that our prospective customers face and offering a partnership and solution Find new prospects, perform discovery calls, qualify outbound leads and set up demos for our Account Executives within your first month Develop and test outbound prospecting campaigns to find leads and book qualified meetings Collaborate with the Marketing and Customer Success teams to build cross-functional sales processes Become an expert in performance management to support potential new customers Be open to coaching and training from our existing team of BDRs, AEs and Consultants Serve as a brand enthusiast for ClearPoint and how we’re helping organizations achieve their goal Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual goals and metrics as outlined by sales management Update client data and communications within Salesforce CRM Utilize tools such as Gong, Salesloft, and ZoomInfo to do your daily tasks Prospect new leads based on industries and verticals in our focus markets Skills Minimum 6 months experience making outbound calls, door-to-door sales, or any relevant sales/cold calling experience College degree or equivalent working experience Superior verbal and written communication skills Knowledge of CRM Management (Salesforce experience a plus) and strong attention to documentation Understanding of inbound marketing and sales Driven sales performer with demonstrated ability to meet/exceed quotas Tons of energy, passion, humor, compassion, and enthusiasm Superior communications skills Aggressive, high-energy style to take advantage of opportunities and significantly impact the growth of our client base, yet a ‘team player' who wants to leverage the whole firm and is prepared to work with colleagues to build more than his/her own portfolio Must live and work within the USA to be considered Bachelor's degree, or 2 years of directly relevant work experience Background in strategy and performance management Experience working with customers in local government Benefits Competitive salary commensurate with your experience Performance-based bonus program 100% paid health insurance & dental insurance 401(k) program Open vacation policy Professional development, training, and mentorship programs Employee referral bonuses to encourage the addition of great new people to the team Team events and offsite retreats Company organized volunteer days Company Overview SaaS management reporting software.
