Business Development Representative

They are seeking a Business Development Representative to focus on cold outbound prospecting and qualifying inbound leads, playing a key role in shaping the success of their Business Development function. Responsibilities Proactively prospect into target accounts across multiple industries Execute high-volume outbound activity via: Cold calling, Email sequencing, LinkedIn outreach Qualify inbound leads and route high-quality opportunities to Account Executives Research accounts and personalize outreach to drive engagement Book qualified meetings for the sales team Maintain accurate CRM data and pipeline tracking Collaborate with Sales & Marketing to refine messaging and targeting Contribute ideas and feedback to help build scalable outbound processes Skills ~1 year of experience in sales, business development, or customer-facing roles (preferred) Strong verbal and written communication skills Comfortable with high-volume outbound activity Highly coachable and open to feedback Competitive mindset with a drive to exceed goals Organized, curious, and eager to learn Benefits Generous Equity Package Company-covered benefits package Above-market paid vacation time Clear performance-based promotion path Ongoing coaching and development Company Overview NLPatent is an AI-based patent search platform, built from a proprietary fine-tuned Large Language Model.
