The Specialist, Business Solutions – Resource Planning will partner across the Resource Planning team and the Res division to drive optimal utilization of our resources. The primary responsibilities of this role are developing business solutions to evolve resource forecasting models, identify operational coverage gaps and partner across the division to close them, and balance customer engagement time with time invested in resource training and development. Key Responsibilities: • Apply forecasting and analysis expertise to inform strategic decisions impacting resources and operational coverage • Design and implement centralized data processes and automation to drive create value across the Resource Planning team • Become the Resource Planning data subject matter expert (SME) with the ability to navigate diverse data sets and ensure insightful analysis. • Champion a continuous optimization mindset using data analytics to identify trends and adjust resource plans to address inefficiencies • Collaborate cross-divisionally to lead strategic initiatives that elevate the deployment of resources and drive productivity • Building operational processes to support quick turn “what if” scenario analysis • Maintain databases and data tables to audit dataflows ensuring reliability and accuracy • Partner across the Resource Planning team to design a streamlined suite of • comprehensive data reporting and visualizations highlighting insights for stakeholders • Thrive in a high-paced environment, demonstrating the ability to manage multiple priorities BENEFITS AND PERKS TO HELP YOU KEEP CLIMBING Our culture is rooted in a shared dedication to living our values – Care, Integrity, Resilience, Servant Leadership, and Teamwork – every day, in everything we do. WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED (MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS) • Candidates for this position should have at minimum a bachelor’s degree in business, technology, or a related field preferred, along with 4-6 years of relevant work experience in data analytics. • Advanced proficiency in SAS/SQL or similar tools with the ability to write complex queries. • Proficiency in Tableau or Power BI and Microsoft Office (ie Excel, PowerPoint, etc). • Intellectual curiosity with strong ability to interpret complex data and translate it into actionable insights. • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with attention to detail and the ability to present data-driven insights to non-technical stakeholders. • Strong ability to collaborate with stakeholders from other departments and ability to develop effective relationships with all levels. • Self-starter with strong prioritization skills and an ability to manage priorities under short deadlines. • Consistently prioritizes safety and security of self, others, and personal data. • Embraces diverse people, thinking, and styles. • Possesses a high school diploma, GED, or high school equivalency. • Is at least 18 years of age and has authorization to work in the United States. WHAT WILL GIVE YOU A COMPETITIVE EDGE (PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS) • Candidates for this position may have a Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or Business Analytics. • Advanced degree preferred. • Experience with complex operational data sets at Delta (OAP, Res, CX, Commercial, RPAD). • Contact Center knowledge including resource planning, processes, tools and infrastructure.
