About the role: We are looking for a Data Engineer to build and optimize the data infrastructure of our team. You will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining data pipelines that support financial analysis, ensuring the quality and availability of information for strategic decision-making. You will work closely with business teams to efficiently structure data, automate financial reports, and ensure traceability of information across our systems. Overall you will: • Design, build, and optimize data pipelines for the consolidation and analysis of accounting and financial information. • Implement optimized data models for financial reporting, reconciliations, and audits. • Ensure data quality and consistency through validations, alerts, and control processes. • Automate reports and dashboards to monitor key metrics (cash flow, revenue, costs, taxes, etc.). • Collaborate with Finance and Accounting teams to translate business needs into data-driven solutions. • Optimize processing times and storage efficiency within the Data Warehouse. • Ensure the security and governance of financial data. Qualifications • Minimum of 4 years of experience in Data Engineer or Analytics Engineer roles, ideally in finance, accounting, or fintech sectors. • Advanced SQL and strong knowledge of data modeling for financial analysis. • Experience building ETL/ELT pipelines using tools like dbt, Dataform, Airflow, or similar. • Familiarity with cloud data platforms (preferably GCP: BigQuery, Cloud Functions, Cloud Storage). • Proficiency in Python for data manipulation and processing. • Understanding of accounting and financial principles to design solutions aligned with team needs. • Ability to work with large volumes of data and optimize their processing. • Strong analytical and communication skills to collaborate with non-technical teams.
