Central Elementary Kids Director
• Summary of the position: To provide leadership and administrative assistance to the LWC Kids elementary-aged ministry & to ensure effectiveness and efficiency of the overall operations of all satellite campuses. This position is also the first point of contact for all internal and external operations of LWC Kids where elementary-aged ministry is concerned. • Experience and Knowledge Required: • Experience in problem solving • Supervise multiple projects effectively • Excellent verbal and interpersonal skills • A love and calling toward ministry to children and families • Ability to learn and use Planning Center software • Extensive experience and high proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite to include Word, Excel and PowerPoint • Exceptional time management, organizational and prioritization skills with a particular emphasis on follow-through and attention to detail • Ability to think and act independently with a high degree of professionalism, discretion and confidentiality • Must be a strong communicator with excellent written, verbal and interpersonal skills • Ability to create, analyze and maintain project budgets • Essential Functions and Responsibilities: • Scheduling of all Dream Teamers at least 2-months in advance for full and healthy coverage of elementary rooms. • Collaborate with the Youth pastors to ensure smooth hand-off between elementary-aged children to the Middle. • Receive direction from the Next-Gen Director and communicate direction to LWC Kids Campus Coordinators and follow up for completion of work. • Oversee operations of LWC Kids at all satellite campuses, ensuring the success of the Sunday experiences. • Serve as a primary communication point to LWC Kids on Sundays at all satellite campuses. • Respond to Next-Gen Director with emergencies/urgent issues as they arise. • Respond to emails and phone call within 24-hour time frame. • Work with Campus Coordinators to build LWC Kids Dream Team and work with them to ensure proper training of Dream Teamers. • Answer general phone calls in reference to LWC Kids inquiries. • Purchase equipment and supplies for campuses. • Generate reports and graphs as needed. • Assist new campuses in initial set-up and training for services. • Direct and prepare new Campus Coordinators on department policies and procedures to guarantee a successful campus launch. • Regularly visit campuses to support, resource, encourage and discuss LWC Kids activity with Campus Coordinators. • Review and respond to weekly campus reports from all LWC Kids Campus Coordinators. • Shop for curriculum and craft supplies. • Participate in monthly department meetings and weekly operations meetings to discuss enhancing the Sunday experience and upcoming events. • Running miscellaneous errands for the LWC Kids Department. • Display a visible role with families of LWC Kids. • Utilize creative skills to enhance LWC Kids curriculum. • Create weekly object lessons to reinforce messages and main points for Sunday services. • Create fun, interactive games for LWC Kids Sunday services. • Assist LWC Kids Campus Coordinators in their roles as it pertains to the launch and operation of VBS Conference at satellite campuses. • Public speaking experience necessary to communicate with child participants during services and adult leaders during events and meetings. • Coach and resource Campus Coordinators to their fullest leadership potential as well as empowering them to do the same with their LWC Kids teams at the satellite campus level. • Employee’s possess and exhibit the following core values in their daily lives: • Love for God • Love for People • Work Ethic that is excellent, protective and frugal with time and money • Attitude of a servant, enjoyable to be with and devoted to the call of God and the Church • Physical Demands: • Able to occasionally lift boxes weighing no more than 50lbs • Able to stand for long periods of time • Able to perform medium to heavy aerobic activity during worship Apply tot his job
