Job Title: COO/CFO Company: Wombs Location: Remote About Wombs: Wombs is a comprehensive digital hub connecting expecting mothers with a wide range of traditional and non-traditional maternal healthcare providers, including obstetricians, midwives, doulas, and other maternal wellness professionals. Our platform is designed to improve access to high-quality maternal care, enhance transparency in service pricing, and integrate insurance and Medicaid reimbursement solutions to facilitate better financial accessibility. By leveraging an innovative marketplace model, our platform will provide a seamless, data-driven approach to maternal health services while ensuring compliance with state-specific reimbursement policies and insurance frameworks. Position Overview: We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced COO/CFO to join our growing team. This is a unique opportunity to play a critical role in shaping the future of maternal healthcare and building a successful company that makes a real difference in the lives of women and families. Responsibilities: - Financial Management: Oversee all financial operations, including budgeting, forecasting, financial projections, managing accounting firm/bookkeeping, and fundraising. - Operations: Develop and implement go-to market strategy and operational framework to optimize efficiency, scalability, and growth. - Strategic Planning: Collaborate with the CEO and leadership team to develop and execute strategic initiatives. - Investor Relations: Manage relationships with investors and support fundraising efforts. - Team Leadership: Build and manage high-performing operations and finance teams. - Compliance and Risk Management: Ensure compliance with all applicable regulations and manage financial and operational risks. - Vendor Management: Identify and manage accountant, banking, and payroll, etc. Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in business administration, finance, or a related field. - 5+ years of experience in a COO/CFO or similar role, preferably in a startup environment. - Strong financial acumen and experience with budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting. - Proven track record of operational excellence and process improvement. - Experience with fundraising and investor relations. - Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills. - Passion for Wombs' mission and commitment to improving maternal healthcare.
