BBC specializes in scalable solutions in affordable housing, agribusiness, circular economy, and green infrastructure. We combine advanced capital markets strategy with grassroots development and are currently entering a high-growth phase. Job Summary We are seeking a full-time Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to lead BBC’s financial strategy, capital structuring, and fundraising efforts during a critical scale-up phase. This executive role will oversee capital markets strategy, investor engagement, and multi-jurisdictional financial structuring while partnering closely with the Founder to shape BBC’s long-term financial direction. A key near-term milestone is BBC’s selection as one of only 15 projects in the Caribbean for the prestigious Caribbean Investment Forum (CIF), taking place July 27–31, 2025, in Jamaica. The CFO will play a leading role in preparing for and representing BBC at this forum, engaging directly with institutional investors, government funds, and development finance institutions. Key Responsibilities • Lead BBC’s capital raising strategy and engage directly with institutional investors, placement agents, and capital advisors. • Design and manage structured finance models, including ABS, repo-backed securities, SPVs, and arbitrage-based vehicles. • Oversee legal and operational execution of multi-jurisdictional fund structures (e.g., Delaware, Luxembourg). • Prepare and oversee pitch decks, investor materials, financial models, forecasts, and data room documentation. • Represent BBC at CIF Jamaica and future global investor and development finance forums. • Manage internal finance operations, budgeting, and project-level cost planning. • Work closely with the Founder (in the absence of a CEO) to guide strategic financial planning and execution. Qualifications • 5+ years of experience in finance, investment banking, private equity, or senior financial leadership roles (CFO, Director, or equivalent). • Strong expertise in structured finance, securitization, and/or fund structuring. • Demonstrated experience leading capital raises and institutional investor engagement. • Excellent communication, negotiation, and financial presentation skills. • Self-directed, adaptable, and comfortable operating in a fast-paced, early-stage environment. • Availability for international travel, including July 27–31, 2025 (Jamaica). • Passion for impact investing and global economic development strongly preferred.
