As an IT Support Specialist you will provide second level technical support to the end user of the agency's computer and equipment, including software, hardware. As the IT Support Specialist you will also provide direct support to divisional management teams for planning, contract, and proposal support. WHY JOIN CHS? • Uplifting mission-driven work • Make an impact in your community and become a part of Florida's ! * Growth and professional development opportunities , including generous paid time off and holidays Responsibilities YOU WILL: * Proactively monitor and provide direct end user hardware and software support to all end users. • Document and follow up with hardware and software issues. • Troubleshoot technology problems according to escalation protocol. • Maintain hardware and software inventory. • Configure and distribute hardware.Assist in testing new hardware and software prior to implementation. • Stay abreast of new technologies. • Document software license compliance. • Install/upgrade operating system and standard workstation software. • Provide technology training and user assistance. • Actively support the day-to-day IT Operations in assigned Divisions. • Work with the ED and management team to support the day-to-day IT operations in assigned divisions. • Provide project management for assigned divisional technology projects. • Monitor compliance with CHS IT standards and policies. • Oversee division's compliance with security policies for data and software. • With Quality Management, oversee that contract and outcome reporting tools are consistently maintained throughout the divisions and meet statewide standards. • Provide new staff orientation on IT procedures. • Provide telecommunications support. • Assist in the development of IT documentation. Qualifications YOU HAVE: Knowledge of: • Latest versions of Microsoft Windows and Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel and Outlook Skills and proficiency in: • Planning, organization and time management • Oral and written communication • Interpersonal relationship building, collaboration and teamwork • Problem-solving Ability to: • Build and cultivate relationships and networks, inside and outside the organization • Take on new opportunities and tough challenges with a sense of urgency, high energy, and enthusiasm • Perform under strong demands in fast-paced, diverse, sometimes ambiguous environment • Maintain professional boundaries and handle confidential information appropriately • Handle highly stressful and sensitive situations in a professional manner • Perform at a high level of autonomy, with general supervision • Meet critical deadlines, while maintaining attention to detail, accuracy and quality • Commit to providing high customer satisfaction with positive service delivery results • Solve varied problems and document results using sound judgment • Conduct research, assemble and analyze data to prepare documents and draw valid conclusions • Build broad base of support among key decision-makers, influencers, stakeholders and constituencies • Lead and supervise others, with coaching skills that result in accomplishing goals through direct reports • Demonstrate the behaviors of the CHS Common Bond Values YOU NEED: • High School Diploma or GED equivalent, required • Two year degree in technology, required • Bachelor’s degree in an IT related field, preferred • Equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered • Advanced technical certification in Microsoft or networking products, preferred • Three years of experience providing end user technical support , required • One year experience supporting LAN/WAN technologies, required Together, good can be done.
