Key Responsibilities Collaborate with hospitals, clinics, facilities, and the clinical team to manage requests for services from members and/or providers, ensuring timely and effective communication. Process incoming and outgoing referrals, and prior authorizations, including intake, notification, and census roles, with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail. Assist the clinical staff with setting up documents/triage cases for Clinical Coverage Review, demonstrating your ability to work effectively in a team environment. Handle resolution/inquiries from members and/or providers, providing exceptional customer service and resolving issues in a professional and courteous manner. Essential Qualifications To succeed in this role, you'll need: A High School Diploma/GED or equivalent work experience, demonstrating your foundational knowledge and skills. 2+ years of customer service experience, with a proven track record of analyzing and solving customer problems, showcasing your ability to work with diverse stakeholders. Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel, with the ability to create, edit, save, and send documents and spreadsheets, highlighting your technical skills. The ability to navigate a computer, open applications, send emails, and conduct data entry, demonstrating your comfort with technology. Flexibility to work any 8-hour shift between 11:30 AM - 8:00 PM EST, showing your adaptability and commitment to the role. Preferred Qualifications While not required, the following qualifications can give you a competitive edge: 1+ year of experience working with Verifications, demonstrating your understanding of verification processes and procedures. Experience within the Healthcare Industry, showcasing your knowledge of healthcare operations and best practices. A background working in a Hospital, Physician's Office, or Medical Clinical setting, highlighting your familiarity with clinical environments. Professional experience in a clerical or administrative support role, demonstrating your organizational and administrative skills. Working knowledge of Medical Terminology, enabling you to communicate effectively with members and providers.
