Remote Cloud Security Architect Salary: $110,000 - 135,000 per year At TherapyNotes.com we are looking for a Security engineer! ️ Our tech stack: AWS, Azure, CI/CD, Cloud, DevOps, Linux, Network, OWASP, Security, Windows Rquirements: - Bachelor's degree in information security, information technology, computer science, or a related field is preferred. - Over 8 years of experience in cybersecurity engineering or a similar position. - CISSP or equivalent enterprise security certification is preferred. - Extensive experience in designing and implementing security controls within cloud environments, preferably in Azure and AWS. - Familiarity with security frameworks such as NIST, ISO 27001, CIS, and compliance frameworks like HITRUST and PCI DSS. - Proven capability to conduct security assessments, manage vulnerabilities, and respond to incidents. - Proficient with network security technologies including firewalls, IDS/IPS, and VPNs. - Strong understanding of operating systems (Windows, Linux) and endpoint security. - Deep experience in managing and securing cloud infrastructure and cloud-based applications. - Knowledge of Application Security (OWASP, SAST, DAST) is advantageous. - Expertise in the latest security principles, techniques, and standards. - Proficient in various security systems including intrusion detection systems, anti-virus software, and identity management systems. ‍ ‍ Your responsibilities are: - I will actively manage enterprise-wide security tools and platforms, including SIEM, DLP, EDR/XDR, and vulnerability management across hybrid environments (cloud and on-prem). - I will monitor security alerts, respond to incidents, and manage escalations effectively. - I will participate in the Incident Response on-call rotation. - I will conduct threat analysis, vulnerability assessments, and risk evaluations. - I will manage and secure identities in Microsoft Entra ID through Conditional Access and Entitlement Management. - I will develop and implement strategies for Data Loss Prevention and identify gaps in coverage. - I will remain informed about the latest cyber threats, attack methodologies, and vulnerabilities to ensure our resilience against evolving risks. - I will conduct periodic reviews of system and network configurations to ensure compliance with security standards. - I will collaborate with development teams to ensure that security is embedded throughout the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) and CI/CD pipeline. - I will enforce secure coding standards and best practices to minimize vulnerabilities and protect the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of customer data. - I will identify and document cyber risks, manage mitigation strategies, follow up on open security risks, and report issues to leadership. - I will align Zero Trust principles with our organizational security goals to ensure secure access to corporate resources, both on-premises and in the cloud. - I will participate in audits and assessments, supporting governance, risk management, and compliance (GRC) efforts.
